Job Brief:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all site-based production and order consolidation requirements at the company’s regional distribution and industrial operations hub. This role requires ensuring smooth day-to-day production activities, maintaining quality and safety standards, optimizing workflow, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing and 5S.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all site-based production and order consolidations.
• Oversee all production floor activities, ensuring daily targets are met in line with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Drive monthly, weekly, and daily production planning based on MRP review and prepare Master Production Schedule.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of operators and line staff to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate with planning and logistics teams to ensure raw material availability and timely delivery of finished goods.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards, resolve issues in collaboration with QA/QC.
• Enforce safety protocols and compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHAD, and applicable regulations.
• Track and report on production KPIs such as output, downtime, yield, and efficiency, and recommend improvements.
• Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns, bottlenecks, or issues affecting production; coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Train staff on SOPs, equipment handling, and safety practices.
• Monitor raw material and consumable usage, ensure accurate records, and minimize waste.
• Support lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with maintenance, quality, engineering, warehouse, procurement, and HR departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain shift logs, ensure smooth handovers, and submit regular production reports.
• Promote safe working habits, conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and maintain housekeeping standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred in Chemical, Mechanical, or related fields).
• 5–8 years of supervisory experience in production within Chemicals, FMCG, Oil & Gas, Pipeline, or Coating industries.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing systems, ERP (preferably SAP), and SOP management.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and HSE compliance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
