Job Brief:

Our client in the joinery and woodwork manufacturing industry is looking to hire a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of their production floor. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in joinery production and a strong understanding of woodworking machinery, tools, and processes. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing a team, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring the timely delivery of production targets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Allocate manpower and resources efficiently to meet delivery timelines.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure all outputs meet design specifications.
• Coordinate with design, planning, and procurement teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective measures promptly.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Maintain records of production progress, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Provide training and support to workers to ensure continuous improvement in productivity and quality.
• Participate in daily and weekly production meetings to track progress and resolve challenges.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3–4 years of production experience in the joinery industry.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, carpentry techniques, and joinery processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
