Purpose

To ensure smooth production line performance, adherence to quality and hygiene standards, and achievement of production targets while optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily targets.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene (HACCP, GMP), and quality assurance in coordination with the QA & Food Safety team.
• Oversee production, labeling, and packaging processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Lead, train, and motivate production staff, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to reduce breakdowns and optimize Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
• Maintain accurate production records and report key performance metrics (efficiency, wastage, downtime).
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations in coordination with the HSE team.
  
  

JOB REQUIREMETS:-

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical), Food Technology, or Operations Management.
• 3–4 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in chocolate production, confectionery, or a closely related industry.
• Knowledge of Arabic sweets manufacturing processes is a preference.
• Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining production equipment and machinery.
• Experience in production planning, cost control, and budget management.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
