Why does this role exist?

The Production Support Assistant role is crucial for ensuring the smooth processing and timely approval of solar energy project applications. This position bridges the gap between customers, installation teams, and regulatory bodies, facilitating efficient project progression and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

The Impact you’ll make

Application Management

• Submit online applications and permission-to-operate forms
• Track and ensure prompt approval of applications
• Maintain accurate records in a centralized database
  
  

Customer and Partner Communication

• Act as primary contact for customers regarding application status
• Provide regular updates to customers and address queries
• Maintain communication with utility companies and partners
  
  

Process Optimization

• Identify and resolve issues in the application process
• Collaborate with Project Coordinators and technical teams
• Generate reports to track progress and highlight issues
  
  

Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure all documentation meets industry regulations and company standards
• Stay updated on permitting processes involving various Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
  
  

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

Required Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience as a production support assistant or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with permitting processes involving Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
• Proficiency in using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with online platforms and databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail in previous roles
• WFH Set-Up:
• Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
• Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
• Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
• Back-up computer and internet connection
• Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
