Program Development Manager Global Travel Retail
We are looking for a driven and collaborative professional to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and truly international environment. As part of the GTR team, you’ll help drive the growth of iconic brands such as Winston, Camel and Ploom, by delivering market-specific commercial, marketing and operational strategies tailored to the unique landscape of global travel retail. Our Global Travel Retail (GTR) team is responsible for the distribution and marketing of our tobacco and reduced-risk product portfolio across international travel channels, including airport duty-free shops, border stores, ferries and inflight sale.

Program Development Manager Global Travel Retail
We are looking for a driven and collaborative professional to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and truly international environment. As part of the GTR team, you’ll help drive the growth of iconic brands such as Winston, Camel and Ploom, by delivering market-specific commercial, marketing and operational strategies tailored to the unique landscape of global travel retail. Our Global Travel Retail (GTR) team is responsible for the distribution and marketing of our tobacco and reduced-risk product portfolio across international travel channels, including airport duty-free shops, border stores, ferries and inflight sale.
Position
- Develop and manage global standards, processes and tools for RSC/Ploom Expert programs to ensure consistency, efficiency and long-term strategy alignment
- Support GTR regions in implementing global strategies, programs, and KPI-driven performance evaluations
- Design and deliver training programs and materials, ensuring compliance with legal and communication guidelines
- Drive innovation in consumer engagement tools and digital applications, working closely with IT and BI teams
- Lead the development of trade engagement materials and support Ploom rollouts across markets
- Act as the Single Point of Contact for all topics related to Retail Sales Consultants (RSCs) and Ploom Experts across GTR
- Collaborate with Procurement to ensure cost transparency and optimization of agency-managed resources
- Manage ad hoc projects and cross-functional support in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Legal and other GTR teams
- Education University degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Experience 4–6 years of experience in FMCG marketing and sales, preferably in travel retail and international environments, strong background in project management, process development and sales training
- Languages Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required, other languages are an advantage
- Digital Skills Proficiency in MS Office, internet tools and iOS applications (iPad)
