Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Program Science Lead to guide our program development efforts and support evidence-based care. The Program Science Lead will be responsible for overseeing the design implementation and evaluation of clinical programs aimed at improving diabetes management outcomes. This role will involve a strong focus on integrating scientific research data-driven insights and best practices into program development. The Program Science Lead will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all clinical programs are aligned with GluCares mission of innovation and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development & Design:

  • Lead the design of innovative clinical programs focused on diabetes management ensuring they are evidence-based patient-centered and aligned with the latest scientific research and healthcare trends.
  • Conduct quantitative research and cohort analysis to assess intervention impact and guide continuous program optimization.

Implementation Oversight: Oversee the implementation of new clinical programs ensuring that they are effectively integrated into the clinical workflows and operational strategies of the center.

Data-Driven Insights: Collaborate with clinical and data analytics teams to leverage patient data and outcomes for continuous program improvement. Ensure that programs are adaptable based on emerging evidence and technological advancements.

Research Integration: Support the integration of clinical research into program development ensuring that cutting-edge research and innovations are embedded in the design and evolution of care pathways.

Evaluation & Reporting: Design and implement frameworks for the evaluation of program outcomes. Prepare and present detailed reports on program performance impact and patient outcomes to stakeholders.

Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff management and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration across programs. Serve as the scientific liaison between departments ensuring consistency in program goals and objectives.

Patient Engagement: Ensure that all programs are developed with a focus on improving patient engagement and adherence to diabetes management plans. Utilize patient feedback to drive program enhancements.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all programs comply with local regulations accreditation standards and ethical guidelines. Prepare necessary documentation and liaise with regulatory bodies as required.

Training & Education: Lead educational initiatives related to new programs for staff and patients. Provide training materials and sessions to ensure successful program adoption and delivery.

People Management: Directly manage and mentor team members within the department including lifestyle coaches dietitians and customer service assistant ensuring alignment with program goals and operational excellence.

Understands follows and supports all hospital infection control programs.

Requirements

Education: Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Public Health Healthcare Management Epidemiology or related fields. A background in diabetes care or chronic disease management is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare program development scientific research or clinical operations ideally within diabetes or chronic disease management.

Skills:

  • Strong expertise in program design implementation and evaluation in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret clinical data to inform program development.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in healthcare data analytics tools and software is an advantage.
