Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Director to join our team! In this role you will get to lead a team to deliver large complex infrastructure design projects in Abu Dhabi.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading, directing, and mentoring a team of Project Managers.
• Serving as the primary project liaison, representing Parsons with clients and their affiliates.
• Overseeing team outputs to ensure alignment with project delivery milestones.
• Ensuring compliance with Parsons’ quality standards, processes, and procedures.
• Establishing and maintaining risk and issue registers, identifying opportunities, and escalating critical issues as required.
• Managing and monitoring project financials to ensure delivery within approved budgets.
• Conducting technical reviews of project deliverables, documentation, and tender submissions.
• Overseeing the preparation and submission of accurate and timely weekly and monthly progress reports.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience with proven ability to lead complex infrastructure projects through all design stages.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering infrastructure projects.
• Strong track record managing budgets, schedules.
• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to utility infrastructure.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate and present effectively to clients and senior leadership.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within multi-organizational, collaborative environments.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, practices, and regulations.
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Commercial awareness and sound judgment in managing project risks and opportunities.
• Proficiency in technical review, stakeholder management, and risk management/reporting.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

• Local and international experience in design management and project delivery.
• Exposure to Master Planning and PPP experience is an advantage.
