Summary - Basic Function Of The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join us on a permanent basis based in UAE. In this role, you will do the technical design and support during the pre-bidding phase, working closely with clients to define project scope, optimize resources, and ensure high-quality outcomes at minimal cost. You will coordinate with technical and Operations teams to plan and execute project activities, providing effective solutions to complex technical issues and addressing client concerns. Additionally, you will guide decision-making processes by establishing policies that enhance resource efficiency and improve client service. You will also lead and supervise project execution onsite, across various client sites, ensuring successful implementation and adherence to client requirements.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Review and assess bids for technical feasibility
• Provide assessments of requests for bids
• Develop methodology and determine job equipment, materials and manpower requirements to execute the job
• Research and coordinate equipment and materials from vendors as required
• Attend sales meetings and present to client
• Developing, cleaning, flushing, testing and other specialized procedures.
• Solve problems involving momentum, mass and energy transport, flow of fluids in piping, fluid mixing and fluids compressibility using the principles / technology of chemistry, physics, mathematics, engineering and related physical /natural sciences.
• Perform engineering calculations such as cleaning force ratio or compressible and non compressible flow, fluid velocity, volume and mass flow rates, reaction force, heat and mass transfer.
• Development of non-standard service procedures.
• Discuss procedures, process and requirements with client to develop plan for cleaning.
• Make recommendations to client in terms of the process and procedures.
• Liaise with Operations, Sales and Proposals in the preparation of the RFQ
• Liaise between operations and clients on site.
• Report to Operations and the client on project status.
• Manage procedure execution, equipment and manpower as well as paperwork and project financials onsite.
• Supervise execution of procedures on site to ensure Operations meets client needs.
  
  

Education And Experience

• Degree in Engineering Sciences (Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum)
• Previous experience of working in a similar environment in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Extensive knowledge of oil and gas services relating to Hydratight’s service lines
• Team leadership skills to grow and develop junior engineers
