Project Engineer

We are looking for a "Project Engineer" to work in the Dubai office of our client, which operates in the field of interior design and home renovation services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Must have a UAE driving license.
• 3–5 years of experience in project execution within the build and interior fit-out industry.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out works, materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling tools like MS Project or Primavera.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage site teams, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Must live in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing build and fit-out projects from mobilization to final handover.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with design and local regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and execution.
• Supervise site activities, monitor work progress, and ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and site documentation.
• Support the procurement team by preparing material submittals, technical comparisons, and follow-up on deliveries.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical and site issues.
• Ensure implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on site.
• Track and manage variations, RFIs, shop drawings, and approvals in coordination with the design and commercial teams.
• Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance and quality.
