Job Title – Project Engineer
To lead the development and delivery of integrated Department reports and dashboards that support strategic decision-making, ensure transparency, and maintain alignment with Client reporting standards and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboarding
- Develop and maintain project dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and AI-assisted tools for enhanced visualization and automation.
- Consolidate data from different stakeholders to produce integrated and actionable reports.
- Generate weekly and monthly progress reports, including variance analyses and forecasting summaries.
- Collaborate with Planning & Governance Team to ensure reported progress aligns with baseline schedules.
- Monitor Resource Planning and perform root cause analysis for deviations.
- Ensure all reports comply with Client standards and contractual obligations.
- Maintain a structured repository of historical reports, change logs, and audit trails.
- Present findings to project managers, senior leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Support project reviews, audits, and Stakeholder meetings with tailored reporting packages.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of experience in project reporting, planning, or controls within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proven expertise in reporting for large-scale capital projects.
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, Power BI, and SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to data integrity and reporting accuracy.
