RINA is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer: Interface Management Lead Specialist to join its office in United Arab Emirates and Bangladesh and within the Project Engineering Division.
Mission
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer with a strong interdisciplinary background in Interface Management for large-scale railway and mobility infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical activities across multiple subsystems, ensuring compliance with international standards, and supporting the integration of safety and reliability processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for preparing the Project Interface Management Plan;
Coordinate among the Contractors to establish the integrated construction plan for interfacing and integrating/harmonising;
Be primarily responsible for managing all technical matters related to the civil and system works of Project Monthly Reports, Final Reports, and Design Criteria (Design Build Contract) for interfacing and integrating/harmonising;
Ensure that the detailed design, specifications, standards and codes proposed by the Railway Systems Contractors comply with the Employer’s Requirements and Contract documents;
Assist the Client in making Contractors' design interface coordination and recommend measures to eliminate or mitigate potential conflicts and claims aiming to make integration/harmonisation in various elements in the Project in terms of construction, operation and maintenance of the Project and
Prepare standard/guidelines, template, interface management sheet, etc., for the Contractor(s) to manage the project's overall interfacing.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical or Civil engineering or equivalent areas
- Must have a professional qualification as a electrical or mechanical or civil engineer or other applicable professional qualifications
- Must have proficiency in English 15 years of professional experience
- 10 years of experience in project management and supervision of international large-scale (preferably >USD 1 billion) underground and/or elevated metro projects
- Having Experience working on two projects financed by multilateral or bilateral development partners/banks
- Having experience in interface management for at least one similar nature project
- 2 years of work experience in outside Expert’s country
