Daikan is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee various projects aimed at enhancing our restaurant's operations, implementing new initiatives, and ensuring that all objectives are met on time and within budget. Your expertise in project management will be invaluable in driving our vision forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining objectives, scope, timelines, resources, and budget requirements for each initiative. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with various departments, including operations, finance, and marketing, to ensure seamless project execution. Lead project teams and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Milestone Tracking: Monitor progress against project milestones and deliverables. Conduct regular status updates and adjust project plans as necessary to mitigate risks and address challenges.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation, tracking expenses, and reporting on financial performance. Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with Food Safety, Better Business principles and regulations.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop risk management strategies. Proactively address issues to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, timelines, meeting notes, and reports for future reference and evaluation.
  • Performance Measurement: Evaluate project outcomes and performance metrics to assess success and return on investment. Gather feedback to identify areas for improvement for future projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration or hospitality management..
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively coordinate teams and manage resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
