Project Manager – IT Solutions, Web Design & Applications

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee projects in IT solutions, web design, and application development. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the project management methodologies, excellent organizational skills, and the technical expertise to manage multiple IT-focused projects. This role involves coordinating with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, adjusting as needed to ensure project success.
• Allocate resources effectively, monitor progress, and manage project dependencies
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project status, risks, and updates.
• Schedule regular client meetings, provide status reports, and ensure client satisfaction with project outcomes.
• Manage client expectations and address any concerns or changes in project scope.
• Lead and support cross-functional project teams, including developers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative environment, providing guidance, resolving conflicts, and promoting teamwork.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with client expectations.
• Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address issues as they arise.
• Perform regular testing, reviews, and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and optimizing resource allocation.
• Prepare and present budget reports, justifying any variances and ensuring cost efficiency.
• Forecast resource needs and make adjustments to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and meeting notes.
• Prepare project reports for management and stakeholders, outlining project achievements and lessons learned.
• Document and implement best practices for future projects.
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing IT projects, especially in web design, application development, or software solutions.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. JIRA, confluence) and agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, web design principles, and application development processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
