Project Manager Spatial Experiences - Japanese speaker (m/f/d)

Your mission

The job location is Osaka, Japan and the duration is ASAP (October / November 2024) - April 30, 2025.

• Planning and execution of AVL technology & Exhibition Fit-Out projects within permanent installations for EXPO 2025 pavilions in Osaka.
• Proactive management with attention to detail over your project(s) from its preparation, execution, project control to completion.
• Liaison with project delivery team, suppliers and other stakeholders, and applying necessary actions to solve challenges pertaining to project requirements if such arise.
• Contributing to the development of project schedule and managing the implementation.
• Observing projects quality, deadlines and cost control.
• Ensuring strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements on all projects.
• Managing and leading multiple tasks simultaneously from pre-construction through to closeout.
• Creating and providing regular compliance reports to project team leads and executive management.
• Initiating and/monitoring change order requirements that may add to the baseline scope of the project.
• Coordination with Japanese project stakeholders related to EXPO 2025 Projects.
• Collaboration with BeWunder support units - Crew, Administration, People & Culture, etc.
• Collaboration with HSE and QAQC on necessary projects on-site/off-site in line with HSE - QAQC requirements and compliances.
• Other project delivery related duties as assigned.
  
  

Your profile

• Solid experience in any of the following or equivalent is preferred: Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Audiovisual Technology (permanent or semi-permanent).
• Proven experience in planning and structural realization of fixed AVL installations.
• Technical knowledge of Audio, Video and Lighting systems and control.
• For this particular role, Japanese language proficiency and fluency in English are a must.
• Flexible to work based on the requirements of the industry.
• Minimum 4 years of AVL experience in a similar role in construction/fixed installation management for cultural/immersive projects.
• Excellent knowledge with Microsoft Office and popular project management and control software solutions.
