Our client is seeking a PMO Manager to lead the development and implementation of project management policies, standards, guidelines, and tools. The successful candidate will be managing the overall projects master plan, identifying overlaps, and leading the development of holistic project update reports, dashboards and executive summaries. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of exceptional projects and programs.

What You'll Do

As a PMO Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our client's strategic direction by staying abreast with the latest trends in project management. You will lead the development and implementation of policies, standards, guidelines, frameworks and tools for project management across all functions. Your ability to manage the overall projects master plan will be key to your success in this role. You will also identify overlaps, and opportunities for synergies across all projects. Your responsibilities will also include leading the development and maintenance of the project risks register, evaluating the performance of projects throughout all phases, administering the closure of projects, and leading the development of consolidated project update reports, dashboards and executive summaries.

  • Stay abreast with the latest trends in project management.
  • Lead the development and implementation of policies, standards, guidelines, frameworks and tools for project management.
  • Manage the development of the overall projects master plan.
  • Identify overlaps, interdependencies, and opportunities for synergies across all projects.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the project risks register.
  • Evaluate the performance of projects throughout all phases.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this PMO Manager position brings a problem-solving attitude to their work. You have experience leading PMO initiatives and are comfortable dealing with board members. You are open to different PMO methodologies and have spent significant time in long-term roles. You are at a mid-career level with experience managing complex projects. You have led PMO initiatives with extensive reporting responsibilities and have the ability to problem solve across a range of industries.
