Project Manager - Vehicle Prototyping

We are currently looking for a Vehicle Prototype Project Manager to join us in Dubai. In this role, you will lead the entire prototype development process, managing cross-functional teams and ensuring the timely, cost-effective delivery of the RAILBUS prototype. This role is central to coordinating between engineers, assembly teams, and external partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the RAILBUS prototype project within the designated timeline.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, assembly technicians, and external consultants, to ensure smooth project coordination.
• Develop detailed project schedules, allocate resources, and track project progress to ensure timely milestone achievement.
• Identify potential risks, create mitigation strategies, and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
• Manage communication across all teams, ensuring clarity on project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Monitor project costs and manage the project budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and keeping within financial constraints.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners.
• Oversee prototype assembly, ensuring the project aligns with both engineering specifications and design requirements.
• Ensure quality control processes are implemented throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency on project status.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in project management, specifically in vehicle prototyping or related industries.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to manage complex technical projects.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience with budget management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• PMP certification is a plus.
