Project Procurement Coordinator - Japanese speaker (m/f/d)

Your mission

We are on the lookout for a Japanese and English-speaking Procurement Coordinator to join our wonderful BeWunder EXPO team on a freelance basis (temporary contract).

The job location is Osaka, Japan and the duration is ASAP (October / November 2024) - April 30, 2025.

• Verify, analyze and align purchase requisitions with BeWunder Technical and Project Management.
• Prepare and align sourcing strategy to ensure timely availability of material and equipment.
• Verification and clarification of deliveries, handling of wrong or damaged deliveries. 
• Invoice verification and monitoring of payments.
• Documentation of all purchasing activities and deliveries.
• Monitor inventory and ensure material availability throughout the project.
• Adjust minimum and maximum stocking levels based on demands.
• Order Placement and follow-up deliveries.
• Reporting costs and quantities for all purchases.
  
  

Your profile

• Experience in procurement/purchases or sales (not a must, but preferable).
• Knowledge of suppliers and local stores in Japan (ideally in Osaka) in the area of technical installation, Audio-Video-Lightning or fit-out, e.g. exhibitions, theater or concert halls.
• Ability to analyze challenging situations, identify alternative options and propose solutions.  
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Structured, self-motivating and accountable personality.
• Ability to focus on details and follow required possess steps .
• Knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Word).
• Japanese driving license for cars / small trucks (not a must, but preferable).
• Fluent Japanese AND English speaker (preferably Japanese is the first language)
