Job Description:
AERTEC is seeking a Projects Planner to support the planning, monitoring, and control of ongoing and tender-stage projects within its aviation and airport infrastructure portfolio in the Middle East.
The selected candidate will work closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective schedule control, timely reporting, and compliance with contractual and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and follow up on the progress of ongoing projects to ensure compliance with approved schedules, deliverables, and contractual obligations.
- Prepare weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly progress reports in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Identify areas of concern, potential delays, and risks, and coordinate with the Project Manager to define and implement corrective actions.
- Develop look-ahead schedules and milestone trackers for internal management and client reporting.
- Prepare tentative schedules for tender and proposal projects, ensuring full alignment with RFP milestones and submission requirements.
- Support the development, update, and control of baseline and recovery schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Assist in the preparation of contractual correspondence, variation orders, claims inputs, and time impact analyses related to scope changes.
- Support the preparation, submission, and follow-up of payment applications in accordance with contractual requirements and approved milestones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably within airport, aviation, or large infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Solid understanding of project controls, progress measurement, and reporting techniques.
- Good knowledge of contractual aspects related to scheduling, variations, and claims.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and speaking. Arabic language skills will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in the Middle East is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Effective coordination skills within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
