AtkinsRéalis are looking for a Project/Site Engineer (Fit-outs) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role will cover a large sports hotel project as part of Site Supervision team.

Position Overview: The Site/Project Engineer (Fit-Outs) is responsible for overseeing the interior construction and finishing of buildings, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing on-site activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in site engineering, with a focus on fit-out within UAE on large Hotel projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methodologies.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for interior construction and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Site Supervision: Oversee daily site operations, ensuring that work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications.
  • Coordination: Liaise with architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Problem-Solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, providing technical solutions as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and any issues encountered.
  • Resource Management: Manage the procurement and use of materials and equipment, minimizing waste and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on-site to protect workers and visitors.
