Public Relations Officer

As a Public Relations Officer (PRO), you will be the primary liaison between our construction company and UAE government authorities. You’ll ensure seamless processing of employee visas, permits, and compliance documentation while managing construction-specific approvals, labor camp registrations, and legal adherence. Your expertise will safeguard our workforce operations and project timelines in a high-compliance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process visas, labor cards, Emirates IDs, renewals, cancellations, and exit permits via MOHRE, GDRFA, DED, DM portals (TASHEEL, Amer).
• Manage construction-specific permits (municipal approvals, site access, MEP/environmental clearances).
• Ensure adherence to UAE labor/immigration laws (e.g., WPS, midday breaks, accommodation standards).
• Oversee labor camp registrations, contract attestations, and workforce insurance.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding (medical testing, bank accounts, final settlements).
• Maintain audit-ready records of all government transactions.
• Build relationships with government entities (immigration, police, free zones) to resolve issues swiftly.
• Address emergencies (repatriation, absconding reports).
• Process payments via e-Dirham and reconcile fees.
• Prepare for inspections and resolve labor complaints.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, or related field.
• 3+ years of PRO experience in UAE construction and UAE residency.
• Expertise in MOHRE, GDRFA, TASHEEL, Amer systems, and UAE labor law.
• Proven track record processing construction permits (DED/DM approvals).
• Strong network with government stakeholders.
