Pushback Operator - DXB

Job Purpose

As Pushback Operator you will undertake all aircraft gate pushback and towing activities, driving & operating diverse Pushback tractors, both conventional and Tow-bar-less types

In This Role You Will

• Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job
• Discusses safety concerns openly and reports them to the relevant supervisor
• Complies with relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
• Operates a variety of Pushback tractor types to perform the gate pushback and towing activities, aligned with task allocation, on the day of operations
• Carries out gate pushback and towing activities safely and correctly aligned with the standard operating procedures /work instructions provided from the day of operations supervisor
• Inspects all assigned (pushback tractors) PBTs and (tow bar less)TBLs and aircraft nose wheel/tow bar to ensure serviceability and that the safety issues, incidents or discrepancies are solved
  
  

Qualification

In order to be considered for the role, you should meet the below requirements:

• High School (Minimum 10 years of schooling)
• Experience of 2-4 years in Ground Handling services and on-job training
• UAE Driving license or GCC license
• Valid license for operating equipment (ADP, TTR, Steps, Aircraft Towing , Pushback Tractor (Individual Tractors)
• Good communication Skills
