Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing of healthcare applications.
- Develop, document, and maintain test cases, scenarios, and scripts tailored to healthcare app requirements.
- Perform manual and automated testing for both native and hybrid mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify potential risks or improvements.
- Execute API testing to validate business logic and core functionalities using tools like Postman and SOAP UI.
- Test application performance under various load conditions and provide feedback on scalability and reliability.
- Automate smoke and regression test cases using Appium, and maintain test scripts as requirements evolve.
- Participate in release and deployment processes, ensuring final validation of features, APIs, and bug fixes.
- Stay updated with the latest OS versions and mobile devices to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze crash reports, data quality, and bug clustering to identify root causes and trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on mobile app and API testing.
- Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
- Proficient in SQL for data validation and accuracy checks.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Postman, and SOAP UI.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong knowledge of iOS and Android mobile app testing.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks for healthcare applications and APIs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for improving healthcare through technology and innovation.
- Experience in strategic planning, data analytics, and client relationship management is a plus.
