Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing of healthcare applications.
  • Develop, document, and maintain test cases, scenarios, and scripts tailored to healthcare app requirements.
  • Perform manual and automated testing for both native and hybrid mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify potential risks or improvements.
  • Execute API testing to validate business logic and core functionalities using tools like Postman and SOAP UI.
  • Test application performance under various load conditions and provide feedback on scalability and reliability.
  • Automate smoke and regression test cases using Appium, and maintain test scripts as requirements evolve.
  • Participate in release and deployment processes, ensuring final validation of features, APIs, and bug fixes.
  • Stay updated with the latest OS versions and mobile devices to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Analyze crash reports, data quality, and bug clustering to identify root causes and trends.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on mobile app and API testing.
  • Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
  • Proficient in SQL for data validation and accuracy checks.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Postman, and SOAP UI.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of iOS and Android mobile app testing.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks for healthcare applications and APIs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for improving healthcare through technology and innovation.
  • Experience in strategic planning, data analytics, and client relationship management is a plus.
