QA Engineer

Our client is looking for a QA Engineer to take full ownership of quality assurance across a fast-moving engineering team. The role involves designing and implementing testing strategies, building automation frameworks, and ensuring each release meets high standards of reliability and performance. This person will collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and network specialists to catch issues early, improve test coverage, and minimize production bugs.

Responsibilites:

Quality Assurance & Testing:

• Define test plans and acceptance criteria, perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing, and ensure clear, testable requirements.

Automation & CI/CD:

• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines to improve release reliability.

Defect Management:

• Track and report bugs with clarity, prioritize fixes, and collaborate with engineers for fast resolution.

Collaboration & Culture:

• Embed a quality-first mindset across teams, work with DevOps on release validation, provide visibility through quality metrics, and advocate for the customer experience.

Core Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in QA experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks.
• Strong automation skills using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, or PyTest.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience testing APIs, databases, networking, and cloud environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
