QA Engineer - Open Finance (m/f/d)

As a QA Engineer for our Open Finance project, you will be responsible for implementing and executing both manual and automated testing strategies to ensure our applications meet the highest quality standards. You'll work across web and mobile platforms, collaborating with developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to leverage both traditional testing approaches and innovative no-code/low-code solutions in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for our Open Finance applications
• Perform thorough manual testing across web and mobile platforms
• Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Playwright
• Manage test cases, test cycles, and defects using Jira Xray
• Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback on product quality
• Work closely with the development team to understand requirements and resolve identified issues
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Create and maintain test documentation including test cases, scenarios, and reports
• Test API integrations and ensure they meet Open Finance standards and requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and implement best practices
• Navigate and test efficiently within corporate security frameworks and compliance requirements
• Explore and implement no-code/low-code testing solutions to enhance testing efficiency
• Validate that applications meet security, usability, and performance requirements
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer with both manual and automated testing skills
• Strong experience with Jira Xray for test management
• Proficiency in at least one automated testing framework (Selenium, Playwright, or similar)
• Experience testing both web applications and mobile apps
• Understanding of testing methodologies and QA best practices in corporate environments
• Familiarity with financial industry compliance and security requirements
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with test planning and execution in an agile environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
