Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the QA team in planning, designing, and executing test strategies for healthcare applications.
  • Oversee manual and automated testing efforts across mobile (iOS/Android) and web platforms.
  • Define and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Manage API testing and validation using tools like Postman and SOAP UI.
  • Guide the team in automating test cases using tools such as Appium and Selenium.
  • Monitor application performance and scalability under load conditions.
  • Analyze test results, crash reports, and bug trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with the latest OS versions, devices, and testing tools.
  • Mentor and coach QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a QA leadership role.
  • Strong experience in mobile app testing (native and hybrid) and API testing.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
  • Proficient in SQL for data validation and backend testing.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, Appium, JIRA, Postman, and SOAP UI.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
