Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA team in planning, designing, and executing test strategies for healthcare applications.
- Oversee manual and automated testing efforts across mobile (iOS/Android) and web platforms.
- Define and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Manage API testing and validation using tools like Postman and SOAP UI.
- Guide the team in automating test cases using tools such as Appium and Selenium.
- Monitor application performance and scalability under load conditions.
- Analyze test results, crash reports, and bug trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current with the latest OS versions, devices, and testing tools.
- Mentor and coach QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a QA leadership role.
- Strong experience in mobile app testing (native and hybrid) and API testing.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
- Proficient in SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, Appium, JIRA, Postman, and SOAP UI.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Deep understanding of healthcare compliance and security standards.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Passion for healthcare innovation and digital transformation.
