For our office in Dubai, we are looking for

QA QC Manager

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of proven experience in managing quality assurance and quality control functions for large-scale engineering and construction projects. They will possess strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of international quality standards, and a proven ability to implement and maintain robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001. Experience in multidisciplinary projects, including infrastructure, industrial, and civil works, is essential.

Responsibilities

Quality Leadership & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO standards.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project specifications, and applicable regulations.
• Conduct quality audits, inspections, and reviews to monitor compliance and drive improvements.
• Oversee resolution of non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive measures.
  
  

Project Quality Oversight

• Lead QA/QC operations across multidisciplinary works including civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines.
• Review and approve method statements, ITPs, checklists, and material submittals.
• Supervise inspection, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure adherence to project standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and third-party inspectors to achieve quality objectives.
  
  

Team Management & Training

• Manage, guide, and mentor QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
• Conduct training workshops on quality management systems and industry best practices.
• Promote a culture of continual improvement in quality performance.
  
  

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Prepare and present reports, KPIs, and quality assessments to senior management and clients.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on quality-related matters.
• Ensure timely approvals to prevent project delays.
  
  

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
• Professional certifications such as IRCA/CQI Lead Auditor (ISO 9001 QMS, ISO 45001 OHMS, ISO 14001 EMS), PMP, TQM, or CQM are highly desirable.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure, industrial plants, and mixed-use developments.
• Proven success in multinational, multidisciplinary project environments.
  
  

Technical & Management Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project codes, and industry standards (ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, BS, IBC).
• Skilled in audit management, root cause analysis, and quality documentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, quality management tools, and scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred).
