Position Overview:- The QA/QC Manager provides leadership and management direction for the practice of quality across projects, programs, and functional areas of varying size, complexity, and risk profile. The role ensures that products or services delivered meet customer and Parsons Quality requirements. This position involves oversight of quality professionals, development and implementation of quality systems, and regular interaction with senior-level representatives across various functional groups, including program/project management, design/engineering, purchasing, and construction.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Quality Systems Development and Oversight:

  • Provide support using the Parsons Quality Management System for process optimization, procedure development, data collection, reporting, and training.

  • Interface with senior and executive levels to drive quality process improvement and re-engineering.

  • Establish project/program quality systems, audit schedules, and facilitate corrective actions.

  • Perform independent audits to ensure compliance with QA/QC programs and analyze findings to identify trends.

• Corporate Quality Governance:

  • Support the development and maintenance of corporate quality governance systems.

  • Promote uniform corrective action/preventive action and non-conformance tracking programs.

• Collaboration and Statistical Analysis:

  • Collaborate with management on quality activities and interfaces.

  • Perform statistical process control and provide technical guidance to junior quality personnel.

  • Handle qualification audits of suppliers and coordinate efforts to maintain Parsons quality-related certifications.

• Documentation and Compliance:

  • Prepare project/program quality manuals, plans, and procedures.

  • Verify compliance with Parsons and customer quality requirements, industry codes, standards, and regulatory commitments.

  • Review and approve documents such as quality manuals, technical deliverables, test plans, purchase orders, and subcontracts.

• Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as required to support quality management initiatives.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Business, Quality, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 10+ years of experience in quality or related fields.

• 5+ years in a supervisory, management, or lead capacity.

• Certified ISO-9000 Lead Auditor

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer

• Supervision Received: Senior Manager or Director in Quality; Project Manager.

• Supervision Given: Quality Personnel.

• Internal Contacts: Employees across projects and corporate functions.

• External Contacts: Customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
