Job Purpose
The HSEQ Manager is responsible to oversee all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality across TESG projects in the UAE and other international locations, including our Abu Dhabi main office and Kuwait office.
This role will also encompass Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) responsibilities, in line with our “Q” parameter integration.

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Safety Management, Engineering or a relevant field.
Experience

- Regulatory Authorities and Government Bodies (e.g., ADNOC, OSHAD, Kuwait EPA)
- Third-party HSE Consultants and Auditors
- Certification Bodies (ISO auditors, lead assessors)
- Subcontractors and Suppliers
- Insurance providers (for incident reporting and risk assessments)
- TESG Leadership
- TESG employees
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSEQ policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with project requirements, local regulations, international standards, and corporate requirements.
- Provide leadership in promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness across all projects and office environments.
- Lead functions such as conducting risk assessments, HSE audits, and incident investigations; recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Empower all employees and sub-contractors to stop unsafe acts to reduce incidents and personal injury, without fear of reprisal.
- Ensure QA/QC protocols are integrated into project planning and execution phases, including documentation, testing, and inspection.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to align HSEQ practices with project goals.
- Prepare and submit HSEQ reports to management, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Provide training and awareness sessions on HSE and QA/QC topics to enhance employee understanding and compliance.
- Maintain certifications and compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
- Prepare plans and implement that safety committee meetings, management review meetings and internal audits for ISO certification and as per local authority requirements are timely conducted maintaining the records and communicating to all stake holders.
- Monitor project sites to effectively implement HSE and QA/QC plans.
- Support pre-qualification, tender, and client audits related to HSEQ functions. Develop uniform interpretation for commonly used safety standards.
- Lead the project site team in fostering a culture of excellence and talent development.
- Demonstrate leadership to functionally assigned intercultural staff on the project site.
- Foster a culture of employee engagement by promoting openness to communication, recognizing achievements, and providing opportunities for feedback and employee participation.
- Cultivate a collaborative and supportive environment, promoting innovation and creativity.
- Establish clear performance targets and empower decision-making among team members.
- Adhere to the highest ethical and integrity standards.
- Ensure site team members receive necessary skills and knowledge through training programs.
- Promote recognition, teamwork, cross-functional collaboration, and integrity across TESG
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Safety Management, Engineering or a relevant field.
Experience
- A minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in the field of Health and Safety, from the energy & power industry in the GCC/UAE.
- Proven experience managing HSEQ across multiple locations/projects, including international sites.
- Strong knowledge of UAE and international HSE regulations and QA/QC standards.
- Professional certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) and QA/QC (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor) are required.
- Exposure to IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Experienced in writing reports and policies for Health & Safety.
- Exposure to IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- In depth knowledge of Fire Fighting and First Aid.
- Physically fit and able to work /walk outdoors for a long period of time.
- Sound knowledge in developing and maintaining HSE internal control structures and systems, and ensure its successful implementation on site.
- Hone creative problem solving skills, analytical skills, and the ability to think strategically.
