Job Brief:
We are seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer to join our client’s team for an offshore project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring compliance with international quality standards, monitoring project activities, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve the highest level of quality assurance and control.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures in accordance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
- Review material certificates, inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation.
- Conduct inspections for welding, piping, structural, and E&I works.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients for QA/QC-related activities.
- Manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform root cause analysis and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Prepare and submit quality reports and documentation to management and clients.
- Support audits and certification processes, ensuring ISO 9001:2015 QMS compliance.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent.
- 7–10 years of QA/QC experience, with at least 5 years in EPC projects (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Infrastructure).
- Strong knowledge of international codes & standards (ASME, API, ASTM, IEC, ISO, AWS, etc.).
- ISO 9001:2015 QMS certification (Lead Auditor preferred) is an advantage.
- NDT certification (Level II in RT, UT, MT, PT) is preferred.
- Offshore project experience in GCC or abroad is advantageous.
- ADNOC project experience is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in QA/QC tools, NCR management, and root cause analysis.
- Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and quality documentation systems.
