Job Brief:

The QA/QC Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality systems to ensure that all products, processes, and services meet internal and external standards. This role involves both quality assurance activities, such as developing procedures and conducting audits, and quality control activities, such as performing inspections and testing.

Job Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance (QA):

• Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) established on-site.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Analyze quality performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for management.

Quality Control (QC):

• Perform inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
• Utilize testing and measurement tools to assess product quality.
• Document inspection results, including any non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
• Support production teams by addressing and resolving quality issues during manufacturing.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure incoming materials meet quality requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Utilize the organization's ERP systems, primarily IFS10, and potentially SAP, to manage projects, orders, and material allocations.
• Effectively and efficiently report concerns using the organization’s designated tools.
• Ensure 100% adherence to company EHS policies and protocols.
• Apply quality analysis tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC) as part of mandatory job requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the energy and renewable services sector.
• Experience working with ADNOC, ARAMCO, and PDO is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP) and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in quality analysis tools such as FMEA, RCA, and SPC.
• Familiarity with IFS10 ERP is preferred or the ability to quickly learn new ERP systems.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent record-keeping, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
