Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Automation Tester with experience in testing enterprise applications and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be passionate about software quality, eager to learn and expand their knowledge, and ready to tackle the challenges of a dynamic and fast-paced workplace. As a Software Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of our software solutions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Test Planning and Design: 
• Develop detailed test plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. 
• Design and implement automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency. 
• Test Execution: 
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects. 
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage and identify areas for improvement. 
• Automation Framework Development: 
• Build and maintain robust automation frameworks that support continuous integration and delivery. 
• Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines. 
• Quality Assurance: 
• Implement best practices for quality assurance and testing. 
• Ensure that deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and performance. 
• Collaboration: 
• Work closely with development, operations, and product teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation. 
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members. 
• Continuous Improvement: 
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing. 
• Identify opportunities to enhance test automation processes and tools. 
• Documentation and Reporting: 
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports. 
• Provide regular updates to senior management on test status and performance. 

Qualifications: 

•  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing and frameworks. 
• Experience in designing and building automated test frameworks for web in Java using Selenium and Cucumber. 
• Knowledge of WebDriver protocol, Selenium, and strong technical experience on multiple platforms (Linux, OS X, iOS, Windows, etc.). 
• Knowledge of API testing and Rest Assured. 
• Strong knowledge of BDD concepts and Cucumber. 
• Experience in version control systems like Git and GitHub. 
• Experience with JIRA, qTest, AIO, or any other test management tool. 
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies. 
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

• Experience working in a startup environment. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
