Job Title: Quality Inspector – Building Maintenance

Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector for Building Maintenance is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance work meets established quality standards and regulations. This role involves inspecting building systems, facilities, and equipment to identify defects, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection and Assessment:

• Conduct regular inspections of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural components.
• Assess the quality of maintenance work performed by contractors and maintenance staff.
• Document findings and maintain detailed records of inspections.
  
  
  

Compliance Monitoring:

• Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies.
• Review and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  
  
  

Reporting:

• Prepare and present inspection reports to management, highlighting areas for improvement and compliance.
• Recommend corrective actions for any identified issues or deficiencies
  
  
  

Collaboration:

• Work closely with maintenance teams, contractors, and management to address quality concerns and implement improvements.
• Participate in planning meetings to ensure quality considerations are integrated into maintenance projects.
  
  
  

Training and Development:

• Provide training to maintenance staff on quality standards and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and quality inspection techniques.
  
  
  

Customer Service:

• Address quality-related inquiries and concerns from building occupants and management.
• Foster a culture of quality and accountability within the maintenance team.
