Baker Hughes is looking to hire Quality Inspector.

As a Quality Inspector for Dubai Manufacturing, you will be responsible for:


  • Inspection and Testing, Performing inspection and test of mechanical and electrical materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Problem Identification, Identifying and analyze defects or issues in products. Determine the root cause and recommended corrective actions or rework.
  • Documentation, Maintaining detailed records of inspections, tests and defects. Document and report any deviations from quality standards.
  • Compliance, ensuring that products comply with Baker Hughes standards and internal quality guidelines.
  • Equipment Calibration, ensuring that inspection and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Collaboration, working closely engineering, production, material, procurement functions to support quality improvement efforts and resolve quality related issues.
  • Continues Improvement, participating in continues improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce waste.

To be successful in this role,


  • Have advanced interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or high school diploma.
  • Have 3-5 years experience as a Quality inspector in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Have the technical knowledge to read procedures, blueprints and electronic schematics.
  • Have hands-on experience in QC dimensional measurements using (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
  • Have a comprehensive understanding in First article, incoming, in process and final inspections for mechanical and electronic components.
  • Have high capability in operating hardness testers and scanners.
  • Have hands-on experience for performing destructive and non-destructive testing for mechanical products.
  • Have advanced skills in conducting visual inspection for mechanical and electronic components.
  • Hold recognized Quality certifications as (CQI, CQT, CMI, ISO 9001, CCT, API, ASNT, CQE, etc.)
  • Be proficient in Microsoft office and SAP.
  • Be able to work in flexible shifts.
