BG Global HR is actively recruiting for a Quality Manager for a leading packaging manufacturing company in Dubai, UAE. The company, specializing in perfume pumps and aerosol valve packaging solutions, is poised for global expansion. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of quality control and assurance within our manufacturing operations. The Quality Manager will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and processes to ensure that our products meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product conformance and consistency.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify quality issues, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead investigations and corrective actions for non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality incidents.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supplier management teams to establish and maintain supplier quality standards and performance metrics.
  • Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to quality requirements and specifications.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Establish quality objectives, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve the effectiveness of the QMS.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to identify and eliminate defects and process variations.
  • Stay current with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to quality management and packaging manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements such as ISO, FDA, and customer-specific standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the packaging industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 certification and other relevant quality standards.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and achieving measurable results.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar credentials are desirable.
