Job Purpose:

The Quality Inspection Supervisor is responsible for training the Quality Inspectors and ensuring the smooth flow of quality work by the team. The quality inspection team is responsible for ensuring that the company’s products meet all quality standards before they go to the market. The Inspectors will test the products, ensure customer specifications are met, and certify the products to meet the industry standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring quality check procedures are followed at every stage of production.
• Documenting any quality issues and following the system for recording such documentation.
• Dealing with customer feedback and complaints.
• Testing all incoming materials and ensuring company standards from suppliers.
• Ensuring that all the Inspectors are well aware of the Products and that all the documents are in place.
• Ensure that at all stages the Quality Inspection procedure is carried out with perfection.
• Random Inspection to be carried out on Incoming raw materials, to ensure the expected quality.
• Ensure the Checking of production parts at specified intervals as per engineering drawings. Tolerances mentioned in drawings are to be maintained.
• Ensure that the inspection is carried out and documented on specified QC forms and filed at regular intervals. Any issues to be noted on QC forms with details emailed to production, Specific Drawing Engineers, and the QC team.
• Check and inspect the sample units as per Job Card details / Specifications / Special Notes / Amendments. And if not found that the specifications are not up to the standard do mail the same to all the concerned.
• Final production units (1 full unit assembly) are to be checked/inspected for quality and maintain the report for the same job. The Packing Department should assemble the production unit (1 unit) and inform the Quality Inspector.
• The Final Unit Picture to be taken and to be stored in the QC Folder. Ensure that these pictures are clear and precise.
• All rejected parts (red tag) and parts reworked (yellow tag) are to be notified to the production department and tagged. Any red or yellow-tagged items are to be noted on the scrap report.
• All the Quality issues must be discussed with the Quality team and should ensure that follow-up action is taken by the Production-in-charge.
• Powder coating QC report – to be maintained for records Job-wise. All Quality checks are to be done as per documented procedures for MEK, Cross Hatch, and Appearance and Coating thickness.
• Plan calibration of all the measuring tools and other equipment used on the shop floor through HR.
• Ensure that prior to the packing of finished products, Q.I. checks the complete unit through the packing checklist and maintains a record Job-wise.
• All the samples, production units, and packed items are loaded onto the vehicles, Q.I. to take pictures and forward them to the Quality Head, who will save them in the Job folder for records.

Job Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma / ITI / Technicians Certification.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Good communication skills in English.
