Quantity Surveyor

Havelock One Interiors is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in UAE.

Role Summary

Assist the projects team by providing support in commercial activities by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for the Fit out operations.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform the commercial activities (viz. contractual documentation and writing)
• Preparation and tracking of variation submittals
• Preparation of progress billing
• Check Bill of quantities (BOQs) against the drawings to raise claims and assist the Project manager (PM) with cost monitoring and controlling
• Assist in collecting and processing of additional orders from suppliers for the active projects
• Ensure compliance with the commercial framework
• Carry out QS function, BOQ preparation, management and measurement activities etc
  
  

Personal qualities

The ideal candidate for the role as Quantity Surveyor has the following skills personal qualities and experience:

• The candidate should have relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying and minimum 5 years experience in the same position.
• Should have good knowledge and be from Quantity Surveying and Contractual background.
• He should be able to finalize contractual terms with contractors and be proficient in MS Office applications.
• Suitable knowledge and familiarity with the interiors industry.
• Good technical awareness with ability to solve problems and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a multinational environment.
• Efficient use of time high responsibility level and dependability.
