Job Summary

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Receivable Accountant to manage and track incoming payments and ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable transactions. This role is crucial in maintaining healthy cash flow and strong client relationships through effective collections and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor accounts receivable ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Generate and issue customer invoices in line with company policy and client contracts.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and perform collections activities.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Prepare aging reports and analyze receivables performance.
• Record and allocate incoming payments in the ERP/accounting system.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to AR, including revenue accruals and account reconciliations.
• Maintain records of payment arrangements and customer communications.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure accurate invoicing and timely collections.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Recommend improvements to AR processes to enhance efficiency and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).

Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Additional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.

Experience:

• 4–5 years of experience in accounts receivable.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of AR processes and financial accounting principles.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Fluency in English.
