Receiving Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Receiving Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the receiving area, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining inventory integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of all incoming goods.
• Ensure all deliveries are received at the designated receiving area.
• Stamp invoices and packing slips with the appropriate receiving stamp.
• Document and account for rejected goods by issuing Goods Return Notes.
• Deliver goods to specified locations as per Purchase Orders.
• Post all received goods daily in the FMC system.
• Maintain an up-to-date file of approved Purchase Orders.
• Ensure the receiving area is clean and accessible.
• Adhere to HACCP standards and maintain hygiene protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• College diploma or equivalent qualifications.
• Knowledge of Materials Control and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Fluency in English, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
