Recreation Attendant - InterContinental Abu Dhabi

We are looking for a passionate, service-driven Recreation Attendant to join our dynamic team and help create unforgettable leisure moments for our guests. As a Recreation Attendant, you will be responsible for assisting guests with recreational activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all visitors, and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will play a key role in delivering the highest standard of service while creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests to relax, enjoy, and recharge.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly do:

• Assist guests in enjoying recreational facilities such as the pool, beach, and fitness areas.
• Provide information about available activities and services, ensuring a personalized experience for each guest.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all recreation areas, ensuring they are safe and ready for guest use.
• Monitor the safety of guests and respond to any incidents in a timely and professional manner.
• Set up and assist with sports and leisure activities, including water sports, gym equipment, and games.
• Provide guests with towels, refreshments, and other services as required.
• Promote and maintain the overall reputation of the recreation department.
• Assist with the daily operation of the leisure facilities and provide support to the team when needed.
  
  

What we need from you:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a bonus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Passion for fitness and recreation, with knowledge of various sports and leisure activities.
