Role: Regulatory Reporting Analyst
Location: Dubai
Role purpose:
- The position is responsible for providing value added services accurately, efficiently and within established turnaround time, policies and procedures.
- Ensure that necessary information through MIS is provided to Central Bank, internal/external auditors & other internal stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities of the role:
- Accurate monthly submission of CBRB data to the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) in compliance with regulatory guidelines, approved SOPs, and defines SLAs.
- Handle queries from within the bank and/ or CBUAE with the highest level of professionalism.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and the IT Department to automate the CBRB data gathering process.
- Ensure that all required amendments to CBRB data extracts are carried out in accordance with requirements defined by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).
- Compile and present a monthly MIS report outlining areas for improvement.
- To conduct UAT on the data refinement requests made through the ITD department.
- Perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision.
- Submission of CBRB data while ensuring accuracy in strict adherence to policies and procedures and SLA.
- No major audit findings from Internal or CBUAE auditors.
Specialist skills / technical knowledge required for this role:
- Thorough knowledge of ADIB’s retail and corporate products.
- A thorough understanding of Bank’s Policies and product knowledge.
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel.
- Effective communication skills in English and preferably knowledge in Arabic.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Previous experience required:
- A minimum of 5 to7 years of banking experience in the preparation and submission of CBRB reports.
