Relationship Manager (Mandarin Speaking)

An excellent opportunity for a Relationship Manager with Mandarin and English business speaking skills is available with an international bank, one of the largest in their mainland who are at an exciting point in their growth with expansion in the UAE, in Dubai DIFC.

The branch will be committed to servicing not only locally-based UAE businesses, but also the greater GCC market. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will market to new clients and syndicate banks, and maintenance of existing client/syndicate relationships, credit origination of drafting and submitting credit proposals, and post-lending management, to monitor approved credit facilities and identify potential risks through the life-cycle of credit deals by prioritizing the compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures, applicable local regulations and AML rules

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and grow strategic relationships coverage for the key corporate & financial institution clients in the GCC region.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and coordinate with respective internal stakeholders to customize & deliver solutions.
• Understand client business needs, industry trends, and financial goals to offer proactive advice and services
• Identify new business opportunities within existing and new clients.
• Monitor credit quality and risk of the client portfolio.

The Relationship Manager will possess extensive networking skills with syndicate lead banks and major corporate in the local market and strong motivation to develop business relationship. You will have the ability to converse in Mandarin and English to a business level. You will have strong research and analytical skills in identifying, analyzing and managing credit risk, a strong sense of integrity, responsibility, reliability, compliance, discipline, and punctuation, good problem-solving skills. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the DFSA rules and regulations, and the UAE market practice.
