As an Account Executive, you will provide support in the design, management, and execution of a variety of secondary research projects (media measurement, influencers identification, risks assessment, landscape analysis, trends analysis, etc.) and will also have the opportunity to be involved in primary research (qualitative and quantitative) This role will give you the opportunity to work on a variety of projects under the direction of an Account Manager yet will also allow you to take the lead on smaller ad-hoc assignments. This role offers a great prospect to work within a communications agency and expand your knowledge of how communications are brought to life and activated. At the same time, your projects will focus on larger issues impacting the environment our clients work in, whether this is understanding the impact of government initiatives, tracking opinions and trends, or segmenting digital audiences. You will be part of an engaging, fast-paced environment, working with a dynamic and international team

Key Responsibilities

    • Supporting in the overall design and execution of secondary research projects, including but not limited to:
    • Exploratory desk research
    • Designing Boolean searches/taxonomies
    • Data quality check
    • Data coding
    • Monitoring and reporting
    • Carrying out thorough and pertinent data analysis
    • Supporting the production of research reports & client presentations, using visual storytelling.
    • Working on several projects simultaneously (normally in different subject areas and across various methodologies)
    • Collaborate with senior team members to identify and analyze relevant data sources

Key Qualifications

    • College or university degree in business, communications, social or political science, statistics, mathematics, economics, etc.
    • Previous experience in research, brand, media, communications, public relations, consumer marketing, insights agency or equivalent role
    • Strong understanding of the Middle East region, including its cultural nuances, geopolitical landscape, and business environment
    • Fluency in English and Arabic is a must, fluency in other languages is an advantage
    • Exposure to a mix of tools, including but not limited to: Listening tools (Brandwatch, TalkWalker, Synthesio...), Audience profiling (Global Web Index, Demographics Pro...), Trends analysis (eMarketer, Mintel, Google Trends, WARC...), etc.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    • High level of organizational and time management skills
    • A ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to take responsibility for a variety of tasks.
    • Enjoys working in a dynamic & fast-paced environment
    • A ‘team player’ who is willing to help colleagues whenever necessary
    • Desire to learn, and a proactive attitude to doing so
