About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee building projects for a high-profile client in the UAE. The successful candidate will manage construction execution, administer the contract, supervision of the Project execution, quality control, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful delivery of complex building developments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management and Supervision:

• Administer the Contract in the role of AOR/ EOR.
• Oversee the construction of high-rise, low-rise and industrial buildings, ensuring compliance with design specifications and timelines.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project plans and
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, Authority requirements and industry best practices.
  
  
  

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Act as the primary on-site liaison between the client, contractors, consultants, and authorities.
• Provide regular progress updates and technical reports to the project management team.
• Address and resolve technical challenges promptly to ensure smooth project delivery.
  
  
  

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement inspections and approvals of works.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, Authority regulations, and international standards.
• Conduct site inspections and reviews to confirm compliance with designs and specifications.
  
  
  

Team and Resource Management:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, specialists engaged for the Project and contractors, to address design and construction challenges.
• Provide guidance and leadership to site teams, ensuring smooth coordination and high performance.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in building projects as RE, with at least 5 years in the UAE or GCC region.
• Proven track record of managing high-profile building developments.
• In-depth knowledge of Authorities/ Estidama and other relevant regulations.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in engineering and Document/ Project management softwares (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera).
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
• Professional accreditation (e.g., PE, CEng) is highly desirable
