Risk Officer

An excellent opportunity is available with a digital banking organisation in Abu Dhabi Global Market for a Risk Officer to conduct Risk Management activities across all functions.

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will focus on activities over Corporate Credit Life cycle, Operations, Branch functions and support functions; Strengthen the overall controls framework ; compliance with Policies / Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review credit facilities through the credit cycle within established time lines and methodology; Prepare review reports ; Process gap reports; account specific concern
• Preparation of committee reports and packs
• Update Operational Risk Reports
• Prepare and update Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) based on Incidents report, completion of Year End RCSA activity and action plan update
• Update various risk and audit reports
• Update policies and procedures

You will possess a Bachelors degree in a relevant field and possess experience of having worked in a similar risk management role ideally within a banking or wider financial services business in the United Arab Emirates. You will possess knowledge of Icaap/Credit and Market Risk stress testing, an understanding of capital tiers and IFRS Risk Weighted Assets. You will possess a strong understanding of credit risk, operational risk, governance frameworks, risk assessment tools and methodologies. You will have experience in risk assessments, RCSA methodologies and implementation.
