Summary
- To ensure delivery of food orders to customers are quick and accurately done.
- To uphold sanitation and food safety principles.
- Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash.
- To check in with customers and ensure their experience is satisfactory.
- To relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties.
- To ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food.
- To assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations.
- To handle various impromptu requests from customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, though often not strictly required with relevant experience.
- Any relevant food handler or hygiene certifications (e.g., local health department certificates) are a plus.
- Previous experience (3-6 months minimum) in a restaurant, banquet, or high-volume food service setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with basic dining room and kitchen operations, including plate identification, service etiquette, and clearing procedures.
- Must be able to carry and balance heavily loaded service trays
- Clear and professional verbal communication to accurately relay information
