Runner - Lebanese Concept (6 months contract) - #25128

Responsibilities:

• Greet the guest and set up stations and tables according to set standards.
• Serving food and beverage items and ensuring prompt service.
• Follow up on billing and checking procedures.
• Ensure that the buffet is kept clean and free of debris.
• Coordinate and assist in the clearing of tables the stations, supervise the clearing of the station and the return of dirty linen.
• Assist the kitchen in clearing the buffet.
• To be present in the restaurant during service hours.
• Ensure that the Waiter and Supervisor is kept informed of all guest comments and complaints.
• Attend communication meetings, briefings, and training sessions as required by the restaurant manager, training manager, and food and beverage manager.
• To keep uniform neat and clean and ensure good personal grooming and hygiene in accordance with the standards of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental.
• Any other duties, which may be assigned from time to time as directed by Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.

Skills and requirements:

• A minimum of 1-year experience in a luxury hotel environment / high end Lebanese Restaurant is an advantage
• Arabic language is a must
• Engaging and approachable personality
