We are currently seeking an experienced SAFETY OFFICER to ensure the highest safety standards at the groundbreaking AL MAKHTOUM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Dubai’s future aviation hub!
Key Responsibilities
Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce OSHAD/DM regulations and company safety policies on-site
Risk Assessments: Conduct daily inspections, hazard analyses, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
Incident Prevention: Develop and deliver safety training programs for 500+ workers
Emergency Preparedness: Lead drills and maintain emergency response protocols
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with contractors, clients, and government inspectors
PPE Management: Oversee proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment
Software Proficiency: Utilize Safety Management Systems (SMS), BIM 360, and Procore

Must-Have Qualifications
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification (OSHAD preferred)
- 5+ years in construction safety (aviation/airport projects highly valued)
- Expert knowledge of UAE OSHAD-SF, DM, and ISO 45001 standards
- Proficiency in safety management software and MS Office
- Fluent in English (Arabic advantageous)
- Strong leadership and crisis management skills
