Position Summary
The Sales Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth client interactions. This position requires a highly organized and motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Sales Administrator will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including lead management, proposal development, client service, and data entry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Management:
- Track and qualify incoming leads from various sources (e.g., website inquiries, referrals).
- Maintain accurate records of all sales leads and their interactions in the CRM system.
- Schedule and coordinate initial client meetings and consultations.
- Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with sales team members to develop customized proposals for training programs.
- Conduct research and gather information to support proposal development.
- Ensure proposals are professional, well-written, and accurately reflect client needs and budget.
- Client Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients throughout the sales process.
- Answer client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist clients with administrative tasks, such as scheduling and rescheduling appointments.
- Resolve client issues and concerns efficiently and effectively.
- Sales Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of sales data, including contracts, invoices, and client information.
- Prepare reports and presentations as needed to support sales activities.
- Assist with the planning and execution of sales events and conferences.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling travel arrangements.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or customer service role (preferred).
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Experience with Asana is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong work ethic.
