Flight Itinerary (About The Role)

We’re looking to onboard a Sales Director in the Middle East to join the FLYR crew - someone that is an experienced and self-directed enterprise SaaS sales professional with a demonstrated track record of success attracting and closing new customers. The successful candidate will embody an outcome-selling approach and be able to establish a deep understanding of customers’ business needs. This individual can masterfully translate the identified customer outcomes to FLYR’s solution and technology footprint to create customer value, and gain sponsorship from prospective customer CXO’s to pursue a business relationship.

Sales Director must gain a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the Company can provide, and develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape. The Sales Director - Middle East will predominantly be responsible for sales in Middle East geographies and will report to FLYR’s VP Global Sales.

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)

  • Our Sales Director - Middle East will establish a deep understanding of target customers’ business needs, leveraging an outcome-selling approach. They must establish proficiency on FLYR offerings, knowledge of industry, and competitive environment within 2 months of onboarding.
  • They will build a qualified pipeline of new client opportunities and gain sponsorship from CXO’s/customer authorized decision-makers and progress key opportunities through the pipeline (from prospecting through to close) while ensuring a professional sales experience for customers during all aspects of sales process and touch points including: formal meeting agendas, formal follow-up stating sequence of events and next steps in writing, and timely issue resolution.
  • Our Sales Director - Middle East formulates winning proposals based on a cohesive strategy and collaboration with FLYR’s internal functions. They maintain FLYR CRM systems and will regularly report on opportunity development/progression and provide regular forecasting updates.
  • In partnership with marketing, they will build proactive demand generation initiatives that include identifying opportunities for targeted campaigns, customer events, and executive customer meetings with CXO’s to sell multi-year subscription agreements.
  • They will attend industry functions, trade shows and conferences to represent FLYR and provide feedback and information on the marketplace and emerging industry trends.
  • The role will work as part of a dynamic crew, including tight interlock and collaboration with senior leadership, product teams, marketing, customer success, delivery, and finance.

What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)

  • Minimum 10 years of recent enterprise B2B sales experience (SaaS preferred) and a proven track record of identifying clients and closing deals in a complex, high ACV sales environment.
  • Strong executive presence; known for building relationships at multiple levels of organization, including with key influencers.
  • Proven record of building robust pipelines through growing, maintaining and leveraging personal and professional networks, with experience working with, or selling to, clients in the Middle East.
  • Unyielding integrity and high ethical standards that embody the fundamental values of FLYR.
  • Ability to handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing common ground and working through challenges to a positive conclusion.

Optional Carry-On (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience working with or selling into commercial functions at Airlines or Aviation organizations is strongly preferred. Experience working with or selling airline Offer and Order based platforms will be high appreciated.
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA or equivalent preferred.
