The Role

Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join our team.

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for contacting assigned/agreed customer accounts or prospects to sell Survitec products within a designated geography or market sector.

Your focus will be on meeting personal sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems. You will leverage your solid knowledge of Survitec products and services, excellent interpersonal skills, and sales experience to drive customer commitment and revenue growth at the right margin.

This role will be employed out of Fujairah, however you will based in either Chennai or Mumbai, India and work remotely from your home, will regular travel to UAE.

Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Develop and implement client relationship management plans to identify and build relationships with relevant decision makers and influencers within own customer portfolio organisations, to enable effective two-way flow of information and understanding of where Survitec can deliver customer value and resolve issues.
  • Set clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; adapt standard materials to make engaging presentations to customer decision makers and influencers; ask relevant questions to gather information, evaluate the customers' level of interest, and to identify and respond to areas requiring further information or explanation.
  • Develop a personal network within the business sector and represent Survitec with customers and at business sector events. Obtain market intelligence and enhance the visibility and reputation of Survitec, its products, services and ability to provide holistic safety solutions. Maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems.
  • Configure product and services solutions and associated contractual terms that meet the customers' mid- to long-term needs, taking input from relevant internal specialists. Present the solution to customer representatives and negotiate agreement within a pre-defined range of commercial parameters,
  • Enter customer information from research and direct customer contact into the customer relationship management system, to ensure that Survitec has quality data to enable effective customer retention and business development activities. Utilise the CRM system effectively to drive sales activity plans and to deliver timely reporting.
  • Collaborate internally and work as the customer champion in cross-functional teams to build strong external customer relationships.
  • Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of Survitec policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct. Ensure own work adheres to required standards.

  • Understand, uphold and contribute to creating a safety-first culture within Survitec. Ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

About You

Essential criteria:

  • Extensive, comprehensive job-related (Sales) experience.
  • Specialist experience from direct sales or from technical product know-how and/or support of the sales process.
  • Educated to degree level
  • Customer focused - build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Manage complexity - make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. Optimise work processes - know the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Manoeuvre comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organisational dynamics.
  • Holds self and others to account for meeting commitments - relates openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people and uses compelling arguments to gain the support and commitment of others.
